This link will provide you with the most recent version of ALPS for WordPress v3. Once downloaded the theme will prompt you for updates from time to time inside WordPress.

Getting Started
ALPS for WordPress v3 makes full use of the Gutenberg editor. Once you install the theme, it will prompt you to install the ALPS Gutenberg Blocks plugin that enables a collection of custom blocks for ALPS.
ALPS for WordPress now also supports Stackable and Spectra blocks. For examples of how to build nice sites visit our demo site alps.site.
Theme installation via WordPress Admin Panel
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Appearance->Themes
- Click Add New
- Click Upload Theme
- Upload the zip file that you downloaded.
Theme settings
ALPS Custom Settings
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Appearance -> ALPS Theme Settings
- Set the custom logos, theme color schemes, footer description, copyright, and a bunch of other settings for your site.
Set front and posts page
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Settings->Reading
- Set Front page displays to a static page
- Select a page from each dropdown
- Save Changes

At the bottom of each page form, you will find a collection of custom meta boxes with settings for the following
- ALPS Header Banner
- ALPS Hero
- ALPS Entry Sidebar/ Featured Image
- ALPS Related Pages & Posts
Post settings
At the bottom of each post form, you will find a collection of custom meta boxes with settings for the following:
- ALPS Entry Sidebar/ Featured Image
In the sidebar, you will find settings for the following:
- ALPS Featured Image Hero Layout
- ALPS Hide Dropcap
Add widgets to sidebar
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Appearance->Widgets
- Drag widget to widget area
- Page Top / Page Bottom: These areas are at the top and bottom of each page post.
- Page Sidebar: This shows on the sidebar of each page.
- Post Footer Region: This shows in the footer of each post.
- Category Top / Category Bottom: Shows at the top and bottom of the category page.
Add menus
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Appearance->Menus
- Create a menu
- Add links
- Go to Manage Locations tab
- Select location for the menu to appear
- Primary Navigation: The main navigation for the page
- Secondary Navigation: Appears above the main navigation
- Learn More: This appears in the menu drawer.
- Footer Primary Navigation: Appear next to the last column on the right side of the footer.
- Footer Secondary Navigation: Appear on the far right side of the footer.
